So I'm happy to discover Betty Crocker Bisquick Buttermilk Biscuits.

All you need to do is to add 1/2 cup of water and mix it until a soft dough forms. Then drop dough by spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet (I use a muffin tray). Bake it for 8-11 minutes for 450 degrees Fahrenheit or until golden brown.
It looks like this hot from the oven:
What to love?
- Easy to prepare. I think I spent less than 10 minutes preparing the dough and placing in on the muffin tray. While waiting for it to finish baking, I do other things around the house.
- Tastes really good!
- Goes well with something sweet like jam or peanut butter and with something more savory like cheeses. Brie goes well with this.
- It's cheap. A 212 grams bag is about Php 50 ($1 = Php46) and can yield around 12 pieces of biscuits.
Having these for breakfast definitely perks up my mornings:
easy to prepare.. and looking delish.. but i think it'll taste better if you can add chopped peanuts, transforming it into peanut butter crunch.. my favorite ..hihi.. sarap!
